In Which Friday Tries to Bark

Here is a video, my friends, in which my new little sister, Friday, tries to bark and start some trouble with me! Being the spophistimucated big sis' that I am, I kept my cool the entire time---even when she runs head first into a piece of wood (which didn't get caught on film, but you can sure hear the 'bonk' right at the beginning)!

But, then she did the 'I look pathetic' thing and my heart melted.

My Girl Friday!

I'm so excited! My (real) Mom and Dad just had a new litter of puppies in October. Today I get to meet my little sister Friday. She is 8 weeks old. A friend of my human mom and dad adopted her. Friday is a little white female miniature schnauzer like me. I can't wait!

My Mom and Dad took me to a picnic. I met a lot of new people and I made a special new friend!

Little Dog in the Big City

Recently my parents decided I needed to get some culture so they took me to an art walk in Kansas City. There was so much to take in. So many cars and so many people. I found out from lots of really nice guys that I'm absolutely fabulous. And lots of nice ladies with big jewelry scratched my head and told me I'm a little darling.

My Mom really liked this gallery. She felt the skillful use of glazed materials on these large red installations created an interesting depth of texture that made the works come alive with vibrant excitement. I thought it was just a bunch of self-indulgant post-modern garbage.

After getting tugged (well... actually carried like a pampered child) around a dozen galleries I fianally found something at le Trottoir Gallery that really appealed to my more refined senses.

1st Birthday

I celebrated my 1st Birthday on May 15! My Mommy got me some peanut butter lollipops. I really liked them!

My hair is getting so shaggy. My Dad promised me a professional hair cut for my birthday, but he hasn't kept his promise so far!
